84 apartments and townhomes built for families and seniors on the "Old City Hall Site" in Coquitlam. Project was designed as completely accessible and won the "Accessibility Award" in Coquitlam as well as Georgie and UDI Awards.

Claude Douglas Place
CLAUDE DOUGLAS PLACE

Claude Douglas Place was built for the Greater Vancouver Housing Corporation with a mandate for delivering a functional low maintenance building. Innovative design and materials were used inside and out with the resulting residential building not only meeting these requirements but also producing a very unique and classical structure.

Scope: 19,472 square feet, 39 suites on four stories

Notables: Winner of: Recipient of 2002 UDI Award of Excellence (Non Market Housing) in Urban Design.

94 apartments and townhomes in a variety of configurations dedicated to a range of user groups; family townhouses for the G.V.H.C, seniors apartments for the Burquitlam Lions, a separate dedicated womens apartment building for WISHS, a free-standing hospice on the fourth floor of the Seniors Building for Crossroads Hospice.
